Project description
 

In this study, we aspire to a better understanding of the aberrant sensitivity for reinforcement in children with ADHD and the impact of reinforcement on their cognitive performance. The effect of different reinforcement conditions and the neurological maturation of the reward mechanism (via fMRI) will be examined as well. Because of deficits in motivational processes in children with autism spectrum disorders, the aberrant rewardsensitivity will also be studied in this clinical contrast group.
