Project description
Rivers play a critical role in the carbon cycle, potentially influencing climate change. Current models of river GHG emissions focus on local biochemical factors while overlooking basin-scale factors like land use and hydrology. Using data from four continents, we assess the combined effects of local and basin-scale factors to better understand rivers' impact on climate change.
