Project description
In this project we aim to study the meaning of the accumulation of political mandates for the functioning of local politics in the federal Belgium. Therefore, we scrutinize the evolving distribution and impact of this practice through its electoral and functional dimensions. A four phased mixed methods design, combining quantitative and qualitative elements will be employed.
