The ECOPLAN Project will develop integrated methods for accurate and policy-relevant valuation of ecosystem services that assess the impact of ecosystem services in social welfare. The company is dependent on a wide range of goods and services provided by natural ecosystems. The main challenge of the current environmental, land-use and sustainability policy is to prevent further degradation of ecosystems while meeting increasing demand for urban growth and industrialization.
