Project description

The research on the developmental and optimization of new PET and SPECT systems would greatly benefit from a reliable method to estimate image quality. The goal of this porject is to develop a method that will allow us to do an efficient comparison between two (or more) system design and to amke an objective decision on the best system for a given task. Using this method we will be able to compare different systems and to semi-automatically optimize system designs.
