Project description

The aim of this project is to develop therapeutic interventions to threat infectious and allergic airway inflammation and to elucidate the mechanisms of action. We will us animal models of Mycobacterium tuberculosis and influenza virus infection as well as animal models for asthma. Altered vaccines, immune interference and in situ RNA delivery represent the core strategies of this project.
