Project description
 

The project focuses on the recently emerging pathogen Fusarium poae, a causal agent of the Fusarium Head Blight disease. Within the Fusarium disease complex it is responsible for a highly toxic chemotype, internationally however little is known about F. poae. Through multidisciplinary research the life cycle and the role of mycotoxins herein are investigated, and targets for control are identified.
