Project description

The project aims to advance understanding of binge eating in adolescents by clarifying the role of inhibitory control and its interaction with automatic processes in experimental designs, and examining whether modification of inhibitory control in lab and real life increases self-regulatory capacities and decreases binges. This knowledge may inform developmental risk models and refine prevention and intervention for eating/weight disorders.
