Project description
The aim of this project is to study in very high resolution the past (Quaternary) and present-day evolution of a submarine sedimentary deposit (contourite drift), created by bottom currents, located offshore Ireland. Through the use of a multidisciplinary approach, combining geology, geophysics and physical oceanography we aim to understand and reconstruct the driving oceanographic processes.
