Project description
The promoters have demonstrated that during a bee season, the number of infectious diseases decreases by the existence of transgenerational immunity. In the present project, the course of viral and bacterial infections will be examined in Ethiopian bees. Next, primary, secondary and continuous cell cultures of bee embryos and larvae will be developed to examine the mechanism of transgenerational immunity.
