Project description
The TOR/SnRK1 signaling pathway is suggested to be involved in regulating nitrogen use efficiency in plants. A comprehensive N-specific interactome was mapped, using AP-MS and Proximity Labeling around the TOR/SnRK1 axis to give more insight into regulators and substrates of this nutrient signaling hub. These networks were screened for candidate genes that will be precision edited towards beneficial phenotypes under a limiting nitrogen regime.
