Project description
The aim of the PhD is to examine how and for whom bullying victimization impact physiological stress response systems during adolescence. A longitudinal school-based data collection was conducted to examine changes in the HPA-axis, parasympathetic nervous system, and immune system (i.e., inflammation). Additionally, the research examines how changes in these systems may, in turn, affect health outcomes (i.e., depressive symptoms).
