Project description

Wheat production is affected by different pathogens and pests, including nematodes. In this study, we will investigate the incidence, diversity, and virulence of Pratylenchus spp. In Ethiopia. The efficacy of induced plant resistance by threonic acid, dehydroascorbic acid, and piperonylic acid will be evaluated under agronomic conditions in Ethiopia. A detailed molecular investigation of their modeof-action will be studied in Belgium.
