Project description

Neuroblastoma is a solid cancer, diagnosed in children under 15 years and is responsible for 15% of cancer deaths in children. Neuroblastoma is characterized by a remarkable clinical and genetic heterogeneity. In this project, gene-expression signatures are being studied for accurate risk classification of neuroblastoma patients. This will allow clinicians to select for risk-related therapies, leading to increased effectiveness of cancer treatment and increse in survival rates.
