Project description
The conversion of short-wave infrared light in electric current is essential for enhancing solar-cell efficiency and making infrared cameras for night and poor weather vision. This project envisages the development of the required low-cost infrared photodiodes based on quantum dots. The proposed U4 collaboration will allow us to understand their operation and test them as photodetectors and solar cells.
