Project description
The aim of this project is to study the importance of these stress-inducible lectins for abiotic stress responses in rice. Taken into account the ability of these lectins to selectively recognize and bind sugar units it is envisaged that they play a role in protein-carbohydrate interactions as part of a signal transduction in response to environmental changes.
