Project description

Fibroblasts are stromal cells that can produce extracellular matrix proteins and are able to mediate epithelial growth and oncogenic potential. In this proposal, we aim to identify the molecular switches that tip the balance between the epithelial growth inhibitory and promoting roles of skin fibroblasts during inflammation and oncogenic transformation.
