This research focuses on tribo electric phenomena in textiles. A first aim is to study a novel electrostatic
characterization device that offers a variety of settings for controlling sample electrostatic activation
providing a variety of possibilities for testing the effect of various movement features on electrostatic
charge generation. Targeted applications are: floor covering, filtration and energy harvesting.
