Project description

The EU considers natural ventilation to be the BAT for ventilating animal houses. Use of natural ventilation, however, is largely hampered by the absence of a reliable air flow rate measuring technique. As a result, controlling natural ventilation is much more difficult than for mechanical ventilation. For the development of a real scale measuring technique, a test infrastructure will be designed and built. The test infrastructure consists of a full scale test construction equipped with measuring equipment and sensors.
