Project description
Plant hormones are crucial signaling molecules that regulate many aspects of development. Ethylene is one of the most important hormones regulating both vegetative and generative development and is involved in stress signaling. In this project we aim to identify and characterize transport proteins of 1-aminocyclopropane-1-carboxylic acid, which is the direct precursor of the hormone ethylene.
