Project description

The main goal of this ConcepTT project is the development and patenting of a generic and independent expression system for (heterologous) genes in yeast to improve (industrial) fermentation processes. This system will act independent (orthogonal) to the native regulation system in yeast by decoupling gene expression from metabolic regulation. Validation of the new technology will occur by the production of the human milk oligosaccharide LNnT as case study.
