Project description

Therapeutic macromolecules are often enclosed into nanoparticles for protection against enzymatic degradation. To come to an optimal transfection efficiency of the therapeutic molecules, a better understanding is required of their intracellular processing. Single particle tracking is a recently developed microscopy technique with which the intracellular dynamics of individual nanoparticles can be visualised in living cells.
