Project description

The water exchange between superabsorbent polymers (SAPs) and the cementitious matrix will shed more light on the internal curing and the self-healing abilities of SAPs. Dynamic water vapour sorption (DVS) and nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) measurements will be used in order to quantitatively evaluate the effects of SAPs on the nano- and microstructure of cementitious materials.
