Project description

It has been acknowledged that pain is not only a private experience, but takes place in a social context. In particular partners play an important role. First, this project investigates the effects of partner’s helping motives and behaviours upon partner/patient outcomes. Second, it is examined which processes can account for these effects. Third, antecedents of partners’ helping motives are investigated.
