G-protein coupled receptor 35 (GPR35) voltage-gated sodium ion channel NaV1.9 Pain

Project description
Behavioral assays on mice have indicated the implication of both NaV1.9 and GPR35 in inflammatory pain. However, how these proteins are affected by inflammation and their role in the ensuing hyperalgesia is currently unclear. This research aims to elucidate the impact of GPR35 signaling on NaV1.9 function through immunostainings, electrophysiological recordings and pain assays in mice.
