Project description
Although tipburn is the most important abiotic disorder in leafy vegetables, the cause and the underlying ecophysiological processes have not yet been revealed. Based on a novel approach, which will focus on the dynamic behaviour of lettuce plants on their environment, a sustainable cultivation strategy will be developed in order to preventthe occurrence of tipburn.
