Due to water scarcity, many countries are shifting to wastewater reuse as alternative potable water source. However, wastewater quality is often impaired by the presence of organic micropollutants. As such, membranes which are used for wastewater reclamation, need an as high as possible removal efficiency for these pollutants. Within this project, fundamental research is carried out towards improved membrane materials.
