Project description
This study will evaluate small-holder WH techniques as strategies for ensuring food security in semi-arid Niger. They will be compared in terms of efficiency in combating the low available water in the rootzone, caused by erratic rainfall and imbalanced rainfall partitioning, through the study of the rootzone water balance, adoption constraints, yield increase and hydrological impact.
