Project description

The research project focusses on the fundamentals of ice crystallization in porous rocks by investigating the relation between the pore network characteristics and ambient conditions. By means of experiments using several monitoring techniques, it is investigated how the latter regulate ice crystallization and how the processes involved in crystallization are distributed in space in time
