The aim of this research is to build a comprehensive understanding of the design rules ensuring peptide hydrogel formation and of the interactions between hydrogel and cargo to better design and develop suitable self-assembling hydrogel materials for a specifically chosen application. We try to expand our library of hydrogelating peptides, study and optimize their properties, as well as perform both in vitro and in vivo experiments with various cargoes for different therapeutic applications.
