Project description

The proposed research aims to gain more insight in the relation between morphological body characteristics of animals and their tolerance to chemical compounds. For this study, advanced model development and image analysis tools will be used. The specific research goals is to describe these relations in a quantitative manner, with a focus on metal-sensitivity of aquatic macro-invertebrates based on external and internal morphological body characteristics.
