Project description

This project aims to study in a colorectal xenograft model the effects of anti-VEGF and anti-PDGFR therapy on the efficacy of intraperitoneal (IP) chemoperfusion with cisplatin and oxaliplatin. Specifically, we will study the effects of combined therapy on 1. the tumor microenvironment (IFP and tissue oxygenation); 2. pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic properties; and 3. antineoplastic properties (tumor growth delay, TGD).
