My research team focusses on the molecular and cellular mechanisms that drive wound healing and keratinocyte-derived tumour formation. For this, we make use of advanced transgenesis, single-cell transcriptomics and specialized imaging techniques. By validating our findings in human tissue in in vitro and in vivo models, we aim to develop better therapies for wound repair and cancer treatment.
