Project description

The aim of this study is to visualize two physiological quantities in a non-invasive way using nuclear magnetic resonance imaging: (1) cel biological changes that are the result of ionizing radiation and (2) the oxygen distribution in tumours. This kind of biological imaging can be applied in the study of radiation therapy using hadrons and in optimizing cancer treatment (hypoxia).
