Project description
This project uses a cell-based system to investigate the host-pathogen interaction and quorum sensing (QS) systems' role in enterotoxin (CPE) production. To accomplish this project, strain selection, optimization of cell culture, host-pathogen interaction, and QS signalling system impact on CPE production are performed step by step. The last step is to determine the role of indole on cells exposed to cpe.
