Project description

This project intends to investigate the potential of plasma-activated liquids (PALs) for the treatment of cancer. Fundamental studies will be conducted focusing on interdisciplinary aspects: plasma characterization, PAL characterization, PAL impact on cancer and stroma cellular activities and PAL impact on tumor growth and metastasis. The gathered fundamental knowledge may be able to contribute to a potential breakthrough of PALs as cancer therapy.
