Project description

In this research, we develop and optimise geophysical survey techniques with new sensor platforms, for varied shallow subsurface surveys. Emphasis here is on the deployment of sensor arrays, which integrate several sensors in a single setup, in terrestrial and airborne (drone-based) platforms. Besides optimising the hardware deployed in the field, the focus is on developing algorithms and associated software to efficiently generate reliable high-resolution datasets.
