Project description

LPS injection in mammalians induces a septic-like response. BB-94 (a MMP inhibitor) and also MMP7 and MMP8 knockouts have shown to protect mice against LPS. Subsequently, the aim of this projects is to study the therapeutic niches of (new development) MMP inhibitors and to have a closer look to the role of MMPs in different immunological models.
