Project description
‘Human enhancement’ - a variety of interventions aimed at ‘improvement’ by overcoming the functional limits of the human body – is the topic of various bioethical controversies. The most important intrinsic arguments regarding the ethical (im)permissibility of enhancement concern: (1) moral responsibility; (2) the normativity of the natural; and (3) human dignity. This research project aims to clarify these issues.
