Project description
A profund detailed analysis of the impact of catastrophic landscape changes on sedimentation patterns and processes in the glacigenic lakes of the Chilean Lake District (South-central Chile). Inventarisation of the landscape changes caused by the 1960 earthquake. Dating of landslides and retrieving assising what their caused them. Analysis of sedimentary signatures in lacustrine sediment records of biglarge, catastrophic landscape changes.
