Dit institutioneel programma bestaat uit 6 subprojecten: land resilience, hydrogeology, post-harvest, aquatic ecology, socio-economics; en een transversaal project. Tijdens de overbruggingsfase werden de doctoraten afgewerkt van de studenten uit de eerste fase.
