Project description

The aim of this research project is the synthesis of novel "priviledged scaffolds" (classes of compounds possessing affinity for a number of different receptor types) for drug design. We will focus on the benzodiazocine skeleton, developing methods for attaching side chains to different positions of the scaffolds, making use of combinatorial chemistry.
