Project description
Plant organelles are sensors of- and responders to stress. We hypothesize that membrane contact sites, which allow communication between organelles through a physical connection, play an underlying role in plant stress responses at the cellular level. This project aims to characterize the dynamics and composition of membrane contact sites during plant stress responses through proteomics and confocal microscopy.
