Project description

Here, we will use the brassinosteroid hormone receptor, BRI1, as a model to define the molecular framework of the interaction between signaling and endocytosis. By combining proteomics approach with genetic and chemical perturbations we will identify the endocytic machinery of BRI1 which, when combined with known signaling components, will allow us to develop an integrated model of receptor-mediated signaling and endocytosis in plants.
