Project description

During embryonic development primordial germ cells (precursors of the gametes) actively migrate towards the gonads. During their formation and migration they are exposed to several of the signaling factors present in the embryo. Here we want to determine how one of these signaling factors, i.e. Wnt, affects the formation and behavior of these primordial germ cells in the Xenopus model.
