Project description
Based on the discovery of a novel sulfur-tolerant catalyst for the conversion of gaseous chemical feedstocks and on first successful experimental results, the aim of this project is to further improve the catalyst composition and provide a proof-of-concept for the direct upgrading of biogas to biomethane.
In this project, experimental and operational data will be gathered to file and strengthen a patent application and to secure funding for next development stages. These will support in particular piloting activities to 'bridge the gap' between the latter proof-of-concept and industrial investment in the technology.
