Project description
In aquaculture, modulation of gut microbiota, as an alternate of antibiotics use, has been suggested to be a potential preventive strategy against disease. In our study, a gnotobiotic brine shrimp Artemia franciscana system is used to investigate the interaction between intestinal microbiota and the innate immune response of brine shrimp larvae.
