NATURESS aims to revive decentralized sanitation in rural areas in Ecuador. The project involves nature-based solutions, such as Constructed Wetlands and Vermifilters, adapted through community input. Pilot tests and a modular system implementation are planned, aligning with the SDGs. The project spans three phases, focusing on community needs assessment, pilot experimentation, and real-scale implementation. The initiative emphasizes collaboration with local stakeholders and knowledge dissemination.
