Project description
This project will develop a new safe intranasal vaccine to protect horses against EHV-1-associated diseases. The safety and efficacy of this vaccine will be evaluated both in vitro in equine nasal mucosa explants, respiratory epithelial cells and peripheral blood mononuclear cells, and in vivo in horses.
