The objective of this project is to identify, study the ecology of medicinal plants and create a large central garden, pilot and 4 small community gardens in surrounding villages. This will make it possible to train locally a Master, two graduates, three graduates and traditional healers for the production of ecological publications and management of ecosystems. This will strengthen the research and teaching capacity in ethnobotany in the DRC through collaboration between Flemish and Congolese universities.
